This piece was what I really wanted out of the "double bricked illusion piece". Made with walnut and maple the individual pieces were made smaller for a different aesthetic. What was Nerve wracking and caused a couple sleepless nights were the 1/8 thick strips I had to cut, cutting and gluing something this small proved very tedious but very rewarding in the end.
